Jenifer Bakewell, RN, has devoted her life to helping others through a career that blends research, clinical practice, and global service. Raised in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, in a family that valued education and empathy, Jenifer found her calling in healthcare early on. After earning her AA from Mount Vernon College and her ADN from Quinsigamond Community College, she went on to complete a BS in Nursing from Worcester State College, followed by specialized certifications from Northeastern University and Boston College’s Connell School of Nursing. Her professional path has taken her from research labs at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Boston Biomedical Research Institute to direct patient care in dialysis, home health, and subacute nursing. Through every role, Jenifer has maintained the same guiding principle: to treat each patient with dignity, compassion, and respect.
